2025 Forum Speaker

How We Evaluate Your Submission

  • NEW CONTENT ONLY: Abstracts that have been presented in the past at any employee ownership event will NOT be considered.
  • Submissions must be educational and will be eliminated if they appear to be “pitches” for products or services.
  • If you submit a proposal as an individual, you may be placed on a panel discussing a similar topic.
  • Only one speaker per professional advisors firm will be accepted on a single submission. Employee-owned companies may have multiple speakers on the same panel.
  • Every proposal receives careful, individualized review by our programming team. We take this process seriously, because our attendees do, too. We're committed to curating an agenda that reflects the highest standard of relevant, meaningful content.
  • Every submission is reviewed with our attendees top of mind. We evaluate how well your session addresses the real challenges, questions, and goals of employee ownership professionals.

  • Data received from previous speaker evaluations will be considered for the selection process, and preference will be given to those speakers with high performance and participant feedback from past NCEO events.
  • Panels will max out at three panelists for an hour-long session.
  • Workshop panels will max out at eight panelists.
  • Speakers may submit multiple proposals but can only speak for one session. In the event more than one proposal is accepted, alternative speakers will be required.
  • Panel proposals are prioritized over individual proposals. If you submit a individual proposal and a panel proposal on a similar topic, you may be placed on a panel for that topic.
  • Proposals will be considered based on how you plan to deliver your session—whether your format, storytelling, and interactive elements will keep a professional audience engaged from start to finish.
